We should focus on the fundamental interests of the Libyan people to immediately and completely cease fire, focus on the future of the Libyan nation to resume dialogue and reconciliation as soon as possible, focus on regional peace and stability to effectively and properly solve differences and focus on eliminating spillover effects to comprehensively address both the symptoms and causes with holistic measures. The Chinese side has always upheld an objective and fair stance on the Libyan issue, abided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations (UN), always respected Libya's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and insisted on advancing the political settlement of the Libyan issue under the auspices of the UN. The Chinese side is willing to work with the international community to continue to make positive contributions to restoring peace, stability and development in Libya.
